Delete Connection

The DeleteConnection command basically falls under the same theme as the other requests, whereby the embedded notification and embedded endpoint configuration requests augment the existing SGCP framework.

As indicated in the SGCP section of this chapter, statistical data accompanies the response to a DeleteConnection command. The difference in MGCP is in reporting the statistics for ATM and local-type connections. The data fields are the same; however, the explanation for ATM and local-based statistics differs, as indicated in Tables 12-10 and 12-11.
