Using AutoSecure does not guarantee immunity from exploitation, but an enhancement to the default out-of-the-box router configuration.

You can use Cisco AutoSecure in interactive or noninteractive modes. The interactive mode requires user input for feature activation and deactivation. The noninteractive mode uses the Cisco recommended settings to activate and deactivate features.

Use the EXEC auto secure command to configure AutoSecure. The syntax for this command is as follows:

auto secure [management | forwarding | firewall | login | SSH | NTP} [no-interact]
