Chapter 3 described the important individuals to include in the deployment planning of CSA in your environment.
An executive sponsor, project manager, project team, and support team are all part of a successful CSA project. They should have input to the project implementation plan, whether they are executive sponsors advising on expected timelines for deployment or support teams preparing documentation and information for users and support staff before deployment.
As we go through some background on metrics and ROI measurements, keep your project team in the loop and discuss these items in detail with them. The decisions you make concerning measures of success and returns on this investment of time and money should be understood and documented.
If you are not completely sure you understand all the uses that your users put their computers to each day for business, you might include a few select individual users in your discussions to get their input on how to best communicate the future changes to their environment.
