■ Chapter 12, "IP Addressing and Subnetting"—This chapter gets into the depths of IP addressing and subnetting. The Boolean math operations required for analyzing IP addresses are explained, and several examples are used to detail how IP subnets are created, what IP addresses are in the same subnet, and the math required to answer exam questions about subnetting.

■ Chapter 13, "Basic Router Configuration and Operation"—The most common commands for configuring IP and examining the status of IP routing in a router are outlined in this chapter.

■ Chapter 14, "Introduction to Dynamic Routing Protocols"—Routing Protocols dynamically learn and advertise the routes in a network. This chapter introduces the TCP/IP routing protocols.
