Example 1-24. Clearing/Removing a VLAN from a Trunk

yin(config)#int fastEthernet 0/20

The command show interface/nterface_nameswitchport also shows which VLANs are carried on ■

Theshow interface trunk command is a very useful command to determine the trunking status oi VLAN status. The show interface trunk command lists port, its mode and encapsulation, and whe trunking. It also lists the VLANs allowed on each trunk and STP status of those VLANs. Example 1-2 output of the show interface trunk command, showing that VLANs 3 through 1001 no longer app trunk fast 0/20. VLANs 1002 through 4094 are other default and extended-range VLANs.
