Class Based Shaping

As mention ed in the preceding section, as of Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2, it is possible to enal CBWFQ for service policies using class-based shaping. Class-based shaping enables you to configui class-by-class basis within service policies rather than a per-interface basis using GTS. Class-basec from within CBWFQ by using the shape command in policy map class configuration mode. Table 6 based shaping command and its arguments:
