The following routing protocols support VLSM:
NOTE Static routes could be said to use VLSM. They are often used to redistribute between routing protocols sharing a NIC number when one routing protocol supports VLSM and the other does not. In these instances, the static route will define one summarized route for the non-VLSM routing protocol. This technique is also used when redistributing into BGP-4.
The following routing protocols do not support VLSM:
